Jelly Cincy is the local implementation of Jelly coworking. You can read more about Jelly on the main site, but in a nutshell Jelly’s are informal or casual coworking (the first Jelly started in someone’s house!). Jelly Cincy is a great way to get a taste of coworking. It free and you can come and go as you please. I came to be co-organizer of Jelly Cincy after the previous and first organizer moved out of town. Jelly Cincy meets, as it always has, once a month in the giant lobby of Crossroads Community Church. The wi-fi is free, and so is the coffee. There’s plenty of space to spread out, little tables, and even a couple couches. In short, you would be hard-pressed to find a better, informal coworking space.
But of course, it’s nothing like a space of our own would be. Cincinnati Coworks’ long-term goal is to open a dedicated coworking and community space. Then we can host Jelly in some cool offices instead of at a church. But I digress.
So if you work from home and want a taste of coworking, the next Jelly is this Wednesday, September 16. Please RSVP. But other than that, just show up! Find me – I’m always there. Here is my picture.
